Caring for an individual with a terminal illness is not something for which most of us are prepared.  Often with anything with which we are unfamiliar, the best first step is determining what we don't know and asking the right questions.  Understand, also that the process of learning about caring for someone with a life-limiting illness will take time.  In addition, you will need to tap into many different resources to get the information you need.
